What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is an event where participants spend time working together to create awesome coding projects. You will spend 24 hours working with your team to build your dream app, website, or hardware hack!

What if I can't code?

Then you are in the right place! We will have workshops and mentors on site to help you.

Who can participate?

All high school students are invited to come regardless of coding knowledge and experience. High schoolers can also apply for our campus ambassador program. If you've graduated from high school, you are welcome to mentor!

What should I do before the hackathon?

You or your parents must sign this waiver if you're under 18, or this waiver if you're over 18. Make sure that you bring a valid photo ID, laptop, chargers, sleeping bag, and toiletries.

What if I don't have an idea or team?

No worries! Most hacker come to the event without an idea or team. We will have brainstorming and icebreaking activities at the beginning of the event so that you can form ideas and meet new people.
